Trustee John Crossman is the founder and president of CrossMarc Services, which offers investment, development, advisory, and brokerage services in the commercial real estate industry. With more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, he authored the best-selling book, Career Killers/Career Builders, which he wrote for young professionals. Trustee Kennedy Williams is a senior history pre-law scholar from West Palm Beach, Florida. She serves as the 2026-2027 FAMU Student Government Association president. Passionate about advocacy and student development, Kennedy is committed to ensuring students feel represented, supported, and empowered during their time on campus.

In a powerful demonstration of the importance of relationships, his donation was matched by the founders of Mielle, Melvin and Monique Rodriguez, and Friday’s commencement speaker, Thasunda Brown Duckett, president and CEO of TIAA.
