Jones, associate vice president, facilities, planning, construction, and safety, and William Hudson, Jr., Ph.D., vice president of student affairs, discuss the new residence halls that are under construction and in design phase as part of the university’s strategic plan. Venom Landing, a 700-bed residence hall, will be open in Fall 2025. It will help replace rooms that were moved offline from the razing of Truth, Gibbs, McGuinn, Diamond and Wheatley Halls. The ceremony was sold out as baseball elite gathered to honor the new inductees. The ABCA Hall of Fame is the ultimate shrine to the greatest coaches in amateur baseball, including college and high school.
