This Week in Florida A&M Athletics
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida A&M's women's tennis and volleyball programs will be in action across the Southeast this weekend, with both teams facing key early-season competition.
The Rattlers' women's tennis squad will split its roster beginning Friday, Oct. 3. One group will compete in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Fall Tournament in Huntsville, Ala., while another will head to Jacksonville, Fla., for the Bedford Cup. Play in both tournaments continues through the weekend.
Meanwhile, FAMU volleyball opens a two-match road swing Friday at 7 p.m. EST against Alabama State in Montgomery, Ala. The Rattlers then continue Southwestern Athletic Conference play Sunday with a 1 p.m. EST matchup at Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Ala.
