Florida A&M Routs MVSU

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida A&M Rattlerettes rolled past the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devilettes 13-2 on Friday.

Samantha Smith (3-3) started in the circle and picked up the win for Florida A&M (11-16, 7-3). The right-hander went five innings, giving up two runs, both of them earned, on four hits, allowing two walks and striking out five.

Amari Brown went 2-for-3 with a triple in addition to her four RBI for the Rattlerettes. Smith put together a noteworthy effort as well, going 2-for-2 with a double, a walk and two RBI. Kayla Alexandre also contributed for Florida A&M, putting together one hit in one trip to the plate while adding a double, a walk and two RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED
