FAMU Presidential Search Listening Sessions Scheduled February 17

Tallahassee, Fla. – Listening Sessions for the Florida A&M University (FAMU) Presidential Search are scheduled Monday, Feb. 17 for faculty, staff, students, and the Tallahassee Community in the Efferson Student Union Multipurpose Room. The sessions will be moderated by Presidential Search Chair Deveron Gibbons and representatives from Myers McCrae.
The schedule of in-person listening sessions will include:
- Staff / Administration Listening Session – 9 a.m. ET
- Faculty Listening Session – 11 a.m. ET
- Student Listening Session – 2 p.m. ET
- Community Listening Session – 6 p.m. ET
The 6 p.m. session will include a virtual component for alumni and supporters who are unable to attend in person. To register for the virtual session, please use the following link. Stakeholders may also provide feedback through the online survey link until March 7.
Additional important dates for the FAMU Presidential Search will include:
- March 14: Deadline for Best Consideration
- March 27: First Round Interview Dates
- March 28: Candidates recommended to the Chair of Board of Governors
- April 7 -11: Campus Visit Dates
