8 Named to 2025 Preseason All-SWAC Football Team
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Preseason All-SWAC Football Team, the league office announced Monday morning as voted by head coaches and sports information directors.
A total of eight Rattlers were placed on the team, six on the first team, and two on the second team.
Earning first team accolades are Charles Davis (Offensive Lineman), Ashton Grable (Offensive Lineman), Thad Franklin Jr. (Running Back), Davion Westmoreland (Defensive Lineman), Nay'Ron Jenkins (Linebacker), and TJ Huggins (Defensive Back).
On the second team are James Gardner Jr. (Defensive Lineman), Jameel Sanders (Defensive Back).
