Welcome to the Meek-Eaton Black Archives. The Black Archives are a compilation of Black history and a research museum. It has exhibits, documents, and artifacts about the history of African Americans, particularly from FAMU and Florida. It was the first Carnegie Library built on a black land-grant college campus. The library was also the institution's first brick veneer building. With four floors of exhibits and information, one visit won’t be enough to grasp all of the history.
