GULFPORT, Miss. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2025 All-SWAC Team and Kiauna Watson (2B) and Zoryana Hughes (P) were named to the conference's second team, as voted by head coaches and sports information directors.
Kiauna Watson is a fixture in the Rattlers' lineup. Watson led the team in total at-bats with 109 and sports a .312 batting average. The Pensacola, Florida native totaled 34 hits, eight RBI, two doubles, and one triple. The senior led the team with 21 stolen bases. In the field, Watson added 87 assists and a .962 fielding percentage.
Zoryana Hughes was a dominant pitcher for the Rattlers and finished the regular season with a 10-6 overall record and a 2.67 earned run average.The sophomore tossed 110 innings, struck out 46 batters and threw 10 complete games.
