I am pleased to welcome to the FAMU Board of Trustees Student Government Association President Zayla Bryant, who began her term as student trustee on Monday, May 5. She succeeds Trustee Loryn May, who completed her term.  

Additionally, appointees to public office require confirmation by the Florida Senate. After no action was taken, Trustee Earnie Ellison tendered his resignation on Monday, May 5. While his time was brief, the Board extends appreciation for his service.
